Most of you already know of my immense love of all things Leonard Cohen. This is that rare instance where I enjoy the cover better than the original. Teddy Thompson takes a cheap bullshit throwaway Cohen song and imbues it with pop heartbreak. This is from the concert film about Leonard Cohen, “I’m Your Man”. It’s a must rent.
